Sustainability Policy
With support from the UN’s Global Goals 2030, we have identified key areas for active contribution and developed a policy endorsed by both our management team and employees. Each department has a dedicated action plan outlining specific measures and responsibilities, ensuring that everyone contributes to a more sustainable operation—socially, environmentally, and economically.
Environmental responsibility and supplier requirements
In our cleaning operations, we prioritize products that are friendly to both people and nature. Our laundry services are Swan-labeled, and we encourage guests to make choices that reduce laundry volumes.
We aim to minimize food waste through mindful handling of ingredients and prefer food and beverages from local producers who care for the environment, climate, animals, and people. Our procurement strategy prioritizes local suppliers, favoring Swedish suppliers over international ones, fostering close relationships to maximize positive impact.
Electric vehicle charging stations are available at all our hotel properties.
To promote biodiversity, we allow selected lawns and meadows to flourish, benefiting bees and bumblebees. A limited number of flowers are picked and displayed in public areas for guest enjoyment.

We always provide guests with recommendations for nearby attractions, focusing on nature and cultural experiences. Together with industry partners, we strengthen Dalarna as a destination, believing that the more we share, the more we gain through meaningful relationships.
