At the top of Tällberg, with miles of views of Lake Siljan, you will find our oldest hotel, founded by sisters Elsa and Wilma Långbers in 1936. Today, the hotel is our most modern with colourful design furniture. We can boast of the hotel's restaurant, which we invest heavily in, where chef Jakob Mathiasson constantly creates new playful dishes together with his team. Thanks to our active selection of local suppliers, we are proud members of the Taste of Dalarna network. On warm summer evenings, our guests appreciate having a pre-dinner drink on the large veranda, enjoying cosy lounge music and good company. We love to organise exclusive meetings and romantic weddings.
Our family-friendly activity hotel is suitable for those who like to start the day with a dip in the pool before the adventure and excursions start. The hotel's history dates back to the 1950s, when it opened as a holiday resort for postal workers. Here, groups of several generations gather to socialise in our spacious lounges. The restaurant occasionally serves a large buffet with well-known dishes. The hotel is certified within Outdoor Qualified as bicycle-friendly accommodation as we offer both bicycle washing, storage and knowledge of cycle paths in Dalarna.
Our romantic Dalarna inspired hotel with a number of authentic timber buildings, centrally located in Tällberg. You can experience parts of Dalarna's history and sleep well in unique rooms. The hotel business started in 1959, initially as a course centre for craftsmen. During the summer, parts of the courtyard are filled with craftsmen who craft and sell self-produced blacksmithing, textiles, ceramics and more. In Kafé Bagarstugan, which is located next to Hantverksgården, classic coffee and locally produced ice cream are served. The restaurant serves well-known dishes cooked from scratch. In addition to arranging conferences and larger meetings, we are one of Dalarna's largest entertainment organisers with around 30 concerts every autumn and spring.
Our popular destination for gofika, a tour of the shop that offers both interior design and crafts. We serve classic waffles with jam or prawns and perhaps a glass of wine for those who wish. In summer, you can enjoy wood-fired pizzas in the garden and a beautiful view of Lake Siljan from the terrace.
