At the top of Tällberg, with sweeping views of Lake Siljan, you will find our oldest hotel, founded by sisters Elsa and Wilma Långbers in 1936. Today, the hotel is our most modern, with colourful designer furniture. We are proud of our hotel restaurant, where chef Jakob Mathiasson and his team are constantly creating new and playful dishes. Thanks to our active choice of local suppliers, we are proud members of the Taste of Dalarna network. On warm summer evenings, our guests enjoy pre-dinner drinks on the large veranda, listening to relaxing lounge music and enjoying good company. We love to arrange exclusive meetings and romantic weddings.
Our family-friendly activity hotel is perfect for those who like to start the day with a dip in the pool before embarking on adventures and excursions. The hotel's history dates back to the 1950s when it opened as a holiday resort for postal workers. Here, families gather across generations to socialise in our spacious lounges. The restaurant occasionally serves a large buffet with well-known dishes. The hotel is certified by Outdoor Qualified as a bicycle-friendly accommodation because we offer bicycle washing, storage and knowledge about bicycle trails in Dalarna.
Our romantic Dalarna farm with a row of authentic log buildings, centrally located in Tällberg. Here you can experience parts of Dalarna's history and sleep well in unique rooms. The hotel business started in 1959, initially as a course centre for craftsmen. In the summer, parts of the farm are filled with craftspeople who make and sell their own ironwork, textiles, ceramics and more. Kafé Bagarstugan, located next to Hantverksgården, serves classic fika and locally produced ice cream. The restaurant serves well-known dishes cooked from scratch. In addition to organising conferences and larger meetings, we are one of Dalarna's largest entertainment organisers, with around 30 concerts every autumn and spring.
Our popular destination for coffee breaks, a trip to the shop offering both interior design and handicrafts, and a walk in beautiful Tällberg. Here we serve classic waffles with jam or shrimp, and perhaps a glass of wine for those who wish. In summer, we offer wood-fired pizzas in the garden and beautiful views of Lake Siljan from the terrace.
